What a weekend!!! It’s been an absolutely chocker block few days for us at Bijou and Vintage. The Festival of Vintage in York is on of the main events on the yearly vintage calender and we make sure to get ourselves up each year! This year was no exception, we made sure to have as many of our real show-stoppers with us as we know our fellow FOV’ers are real fanatics when it comes to their wardrobes….
Pics from this years stand …
We took some really beautiful evening dresses with us, a favourite is this 1940’s silk floral printed gown.
We hand pick all of our lovely pieces, and this gown is no exception.
The cut is really flattering and classic for the period, the busy to waist ratio is what you can expect from the 40’s.
We also took a selection of ready to wear suits and two pieces across both ladies and gent’s apparel. We really loved this stunner!
This grey and black ladies skirt suit is a Dellbury Model Original 1940’s pure wool woosted.
Bust = 36″ , Waist = 28″, Hip = 38″
We also had with us this super chic Countess 1940’s pure Scottish wool, skirt suit is hues of heather
Check out the seam shaping down the front panels! perfect for showing off your waist
We would like to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you who came along to see us at the stand and all the new faces who came to meet us!
We did manage to catch some of our regular customers and it was a pleasure as always! Until next year 🙂
